Giorgia Lupi joins the Moleskine Foundation Collection

Giorgia Lupi tells the story of her life through a notebook as a contribution to the Moleskine Foundation Collection

Information designer, artist, author, and a prominent voice in the world of data, Giorgia Lupi has become the new creative mind to contribute to the Collection of the Moleskine Foundation in 2021.

About her acceptance to join the Moleskine Foundation Collection invitation she says: “The idea of participating to such an important educational initiative as the one represented by the Collection, felt very compelling to me. An object like the Moleskine notebook that I’ve been using for the past 20 years, just for the first time seen through the lenses of “What can I do with it?” – a truly blank page to explore my own creativity”.

Her gift to the Collection is of the utmost educational value and inspires the Foundation’s program beneficiaries to trust in their own creative potential, which is then developed and nurtured.

This opportunity for people of all backgrounds to hone their creative skills alongside professionals and artists on an equal standpoint is a unique chance to open themselves to new prospects. This one-of-a-kind approach to creativity has been the drive to the Moleskine Foundation’s endeavors since its beginning and continues to help nurture creativity in all.

This “book of life” retraces Lupi’s entire existence – all 14,496 days that led to the creation of this profound and touching piece. It illustrates the core idea of the Moleskine Foundation Collection that the notebooks are not just artworks, they tell the stories of their makers and are each filled with memories, feelings, and history.

Giorgia Lupi’s contribution to the Collection marks yet another addition amongst hundreds of personal stories brought out by creative minds and continues to inspire individuals and communities around the world.
