Building a new generation of knowledge activists

Moleskine Foundation and Fondazione Aurora launch a call for young students proficient in African languages to participate in the WikiAfrica Higher Education Initiative.

This initiative is aimed at university students  (18-27 years) from diverse backgrounds, who know and/or write in African languages, and is designed to equip them with the necessary skills and motivation to become knowledge producers and specialists in their communities. The program wants to encourage a new generation of knowledge producers committed to take ownership of Africa’s digital narrative and fill the lack of digital content around the African continent by improving and expanding its presence on the Wikipedia platform.
